Kristen Anderson-Lopez
Music and Lyrics

Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez are the Oscar®– and Grammy®-winning, married songwriting team behind the Disney animated film Frozen. Robert co-conceived and co-wrote the smash hit musicals Avenue Q and The Book of Mormon, both earning him Tony® Awards. Kristen’s show In Transit made history as the first all a cappella musical to run on Broadway, after earning recognition at the Drama Desk, Drama League and Lucille Lortel Awards for its 2010 Off-Broadway run. Together, Lopez and Anderson-Lopez have written for television, film and stage, including Finding Nemo: The Musical; songs for “The Wonder Pets” (two Emmy® Award wins) and the Winnie the Pooh animated film. Their original musical Up Here premiered at the La Jolla Playhouse in 2015. Their upcoming projects include Pixar’s Coco and Disney’s Frozen 2. Lopez and Anderson-Lopez both serve on the Dramatists Guild Council.  Graduates of Yale University and Williams College, respectively, they now reside in Brooklyn with their two daughters.

Jennifer Lee
Book

Jennifer Lee is the Academy Award®-winning director (along with Chris Buck) and writer of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Frozen, which became the #1 animated film of all time, worldwide. For her work on Frozen, Lee received numerous awards, including a Golden Globe, a Critics Choice Award, a BAFTA Award and an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. In 2012, her Disney Animation career began as co-writer of the Oscar®-nominated Wreck-It Ralph. In spring 2018, Disney will release the movie version of A Wrinkle in Time for which Lee wrote the screenplay based on Madeleine L’Engle’s book. Lee lives in Los Angeles with her daughter Agatha.
